Irène Schrader is a singer-songwriter who grew up between Shanghai and Paris.
She released her first EP "Longing" in March 2023. Her music reflects the mosaic of cultures in which she grew up: from the 70s and 90s Mandopop to the great French songwriters of the 60s, to contemporary pop. While her debut EP is entirely in English, her music will incorporate both French and Mandarin in the near future.
Irène started learning the piano at age 4, found her love for writing throughout her childhood, and started producing her own songs at the age of 16. Since then, music has been her travel companion: she composes her songs everywhere, whether it be from her room, a train, or a plane
